Pretty quiet place, good beer and you can warm yourself by the fireplace.
I had a lovely time there.
Looking for a place to shelter from the rain on a Saturday in London, we happened upon Blue Posts. It was very quiet, but that suited us well. It started to get busy as we were leaving. Good selection of their own spirits and beers. Friendly, quick service. Knocked off a star because they don't take Amex. When a chain this size doesn't accept amex, the end user loses out.
Traditional “old man’s” pub which I personally love because it has good prices and great calm atmosphere. Great cozy spot for a quiet beer. They don’t have mainstream beers though, on tap just Samuel Smith’s beers. £7.70 for 2 pints in Jan 2022.
Excellent spot for a quiet lunch near Oxford Circus. They have a good selection of mains under £11, which was good value for the area. Tasty food too.
Still an awesome, traditional pub in every sense of the word. Visited it today after 22 years, and it is exactly 100% still the same! Love it
Old fashioned pub just off Oxford Street with an interesting selection of draught beers - the stout was particularly good. Some tables for sitting outside on the street, which isn't too busy.
Sam Smiths pub so all Sam Smith branded offerings. £12.60 for the worst G&T in London. £7 per pint. Terrible fare for premium prices. Avoid.
A classic Sam Smiths London boozer with ales on tap. This pub must have some stories to tell. Lots of clientele have clearly been coming here for years (or decades)!
They have a sign to tell you it’s a digital free zone which is quite refreshing for a pub in this area in 2022.
Outdoor seating for when the weather is good, and lots of space inside too.
